Civic Tech -- Civic technology is technology (mainly information technology) that enables engagement or participation of the public for stronger development, enhancing citizen communications, improving government infrastructure, and improving the public good.It encompasses civic applications, platforms supporting government bodies, institutions and other software enabling those goals.
We plan to hold Civic Tech Cafe monthly basis. (ex Open Data Cafe) The cafe is located on the 1st floor of the main library for University Ibaraki. On the evening of the 1st Saturday, why don't you talk civic tech in a casual mood?
